Steam block heat points adjustable on the steam side
A block heat point is an automated system for heating district heating water (or other liquids). The heating medium is steam, which, entering the heat exchanger, condenses, transferring heat through the walls of the heat exchanger of the heated liquid. The intensity of heat exchange is regulated by means of a control valve, which, depending on the temperature of the water at the outlet of the heat exchanger, supplies the required amount of steam to the heat exchanger (regulation on the steam side).
Peculiarities:
- vertical stackable plate heat exchangers "DAN" specially designed for steam systems provide efficient steam condensation, have a robust and compact design. AISI 316 stainless steel plates, Viton-S rubber gaskets for operation at temperatures up to 180°C;
- automatic smooth regulation of water temperature, taking into account weather conditions;
- automatic redundancy of circulation pumps;
- automatic make-up from the network by a booster pump, or through a pressure reducing valve;
- automatic drainage of the steam pipeline at the inlet;
- automatic condensate drain from the heat exchanger, incl. in the presence of counterpressure in the condensate pipeline;
- automatic removal of air and non-condensable gases;
- fittings for manual test or emergency purge of condensate lines, including filters;
- for the possibility of flushing heat exchangers;
- the ability to remotely control the BTP / the ability to work in manual mode;
- automatic protection:
- from overheating of water in the heated circuit;
- in case of emergency boiling of water in the heated circuit;
- when stopping the circulation pumps;
- in case of power failure (or pneumatic supply);
- when a vacuum is formed in the heat exchanger.
The BhP is delivered assembled, on a supporting frame, ready for external power supply connections.
Steam block heating points regulated on the condensate side
- A block heat point is an automated system for heating district heating water (or other liquids). The heating medium is steam, which, entering the heat exchanger, condenses, transferring heat through the walls of the heat exchanger of the heated liquid. The intensity of heat exchange is regulated by means of a control valve located at the outlet of the heat exchanger. The valve, depending on the temperature of the water at the outlet of the heat exchanger, controls the flooding of the heat exchanger with condensate (regulation on the condensate side), thereby automatically changing the heat exchange surface.
- The advantages of this technical solution are:
- operation of the heat exchanger at constant pressure;
- use of condensate heat (after-cooling of condensate);
- no flash steam at the outlet;
- small diameter control valve;
- regulation of loads in the range of 0...100%.
