Dear fellow citizens! During an air raid alert, every minute counts. Your quick and correct reaction can save lives. Here are some important tips to help you act safely:

1. Concentrate and don’t panic:

Remember that in a panic you won’t be able to act quickly and clearly. Calm down and focus on your action plan, because you already know what to do.

2. Quickly head to shelter:

If you are outside, don’t waste time — go to the nearest shelter. This could be an underpass, a metro station, a parking lot, or a bomb shelter.

If you are at home, check where the nearest bomb shelter or radiation shelter is. It is important to know their location in advance!

3. Stay in shelter:

After you get to the shelter, stay there until the end of the alarm is announced.

While in the shelter, follow the news and messages from official sources.

4. Stock up on the necessary things:

Have an emergency kit with you - food, water, a first aid kit and other necessary things. This will help you feel more comfortable if you have to stay in the shelter for a long time.

5. Remember about safety!

Be careful, do not use the elevator, go down the stairs. If the shelter is not nearby, choose a safe place indoors - a corridor or a bathroom, and stay away from windows.
